I just joined dso and have actually created my first kit for the challenge. I just have a question. I was in the middle of creating my preview and psp had an error and had to close. How do most people create previews? I was doing it one paper/element at a time but just wondered if there was a quicker way.

Thank you so much LouCee! I used your Fairytale Kisses kit for my layout. My daughter saw it on the computer before I downloaded it and loved it, so of course I had to do a layout with it. This kit is totally precious! I tried to make the frog jump off the page and I made the kiss green. Thought it might be more appropriate for frog lips. LOL. Here is my layout.

I haven't got much in the way of designer DNA! But I do appreciate the effort & time that goes into getting a kit ready - whew! This took HOURS, as maybe some of you will know,lol! And it's very basic. No matter. It's so much fun with a little frustration in there too. And I think I resized them a little too small. What are the general guidelines for previews?

I've also started a blog, just this week, so my previews are there, as well as the links for the downloads. NO LAUGHING AT THE BLOG SITE! I spent all my time working on the challenge, instead of working on the blog to make it purty... gotta get to work on it next. And of course, now I have a new challenge coming!!! The files are "compressed" with DropStuff/StuffIt, which is the most common Mac compression program. It will unzip with all the major unzipping software. I use both PC and Mac, but mostly my Mac. If for some reason you download and cannot open, I'd be VERY surprised. What do you use for unzipping?

Okay, I am in the midst of re-uploading the files for the wary, in ZIP format, and will update the blog links ASAP thereafter! The SITX files are still there, for those who use Macs, if they want them. I'm just going to add links to the ZIP versions of the files, so you will have a choice. :) IT'S DONE... ZIP FILES AVAILABLE, and LINKED, with no passwords needed!

Yea, yea, yea for me!!! It's still February (barely) & I have a LO for this challenge! Wasn't sure I could get it done - I spent too much time yesterday downloading so many beautiful papers & kits made for this challenge!

I have been in the hospital for the last 8 days and got home thursday and I am trying to get caught up :S. I got really blue, it has been a really bad year and Feb really socked to to me and knocked the stuffins out of me so I had to be treated for the blues. Anyway, much more positively minded now. I did make a paper kit and make sure to check my blog tomorrow for those of you who want it, sorry it's late peeps.

I spent 'a while' trying to get the new gallery to work, gave up, and posted a LO on my blog.

I feel like a total dweeb, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to upload to the gallery. :doh:
Can someone direct me to instructions please?

Hi Dee and WELCOME- WOOOHOOO

Ok- if you open the main page of the gallery- (link is at the top of the header)

Then look on the right hand side UNDER where it says WELCOME DEE- you will see UPLOAD PHOTO'S.
You can up the LO into the gallery from here

choose ofrom the drop down menu where you want the LO to go-
Under one of the designers names ( usually CT LO's)
or the CHALLENGES as listed
Or the Meet the committed ( which will up it under your name in the gallery)

Click on the BROWSE button and find your LO on your PC ( make sure it is under 125k and 600x600pixels)

The fill in the title and description for your LO.

Right at the bottom there will be a little box that you can *tick* that says e-mail notification when someone makes a comment:)

Click upload and thats it-
To go and find your LO's afterwards- just click on MY PHOTO'S on the left hand side and it will bring up all your LO's you have uploaded.
