CONGRATULATIONS to mar lene on her absolutely STUNNING layout titled : ‘Children In The Sea (http://digiscrapobsession.net/pics/showphoto.php?photo=1049).’ I have chosen her fantastic page as layout of the week!

One of the things I LOVE about digital scrapbooking is the ability to blend and merge! Mar lene has done an outstanding job blending her GORGEOUS photograph (a striking picture just all by itself…) into the main background paper. She has added new colors and textures into an already lovely scene.
AND she uses more traditional type elements and positioning in her beautiful frame cluster!!! Plus, she inserts the ORIGINAL pic into that frame for us to enjoy as well!!!! Great use of an alpha set, wonderful word art, amazing layering and cluster work… just a ‘drop dead gorgeous’ page all around!!! (oooh… and I love all the little ‘blended birdies’ on the main photo too… fabulous embellishment!)
